In 2009, the Innovation Premiere competition of innovative products and materials for furniture industry and architectural design was held within the frames of the MTKT Innovation exhibition for the first time in Ukraine. International competent jury consisting of industry specialists, designers and mass media representatives defined 10 innovative products for Ukrainian market in 8 nominations, namely:  Materials, Chemical products, Elements and Systems, Surfaces, Upholstery, Fittings, Intermediate Products, Lighting Elements.
